About the event
WASHINGTON (Dec. 12, 2022) – The DMV’s immigrant community tells their true tales on leaving home and building new foundations. KAMA DC’s volunteer-run, grassroots mission dedicates itself to providing a platform for immigrants to share their skills and their stories. In this KAMA DC and Story District collaboration, we showcase some of the KAMA DC’s favorite immigrant storytellers sharing humorous and heartfelt stories about loss, renewal, and transformation.
Lost & Found: Best of KAMA DC kicks off Story District’s 2023 Community Voices program devoted to making storytelling more accessible and representative of people living in the DMV.
Tickets to Story District’s Lost & Found are now on sale at www.storydistrict.org/tickets/kama. An online media kit with photos, videos, and more can be accessed here.
